Thing.to is a platform where users can share their thoughts and response to the prompt "I want a thing to:..." Their ideas will be posted onto a community wall and others can favorite or applaud their ideas. Users can also share their favorite things via Twitter or Facebook as well. For those who want to connect with some of the other creative people on Thing.to they can setup a user profile and message other Thing.to members. This is a way for users to tell the world what it is that they would really want as far as a product or service. Thing.to is a good place for creative thinkers to interact with one another and pitch new ideas or concepts. It is also a good place to get inspiration for new inventions. However, since users are broadcasting their ideas to the world for free, they certainly run the risk of someone stealing their idea and running to the patent office with it.
